We have been talking about Harvest in R.E. and learning new songs in collective worship all week. Today we have been very busy baking bread rolls for our Grandparents to share tomorrow after the church service!
It was great fun being bakers for the day and we learned a lot about how bread is made. We also listened to the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ and talked about why it is important to share. We divided four of our bread buns up and had a little taste of them – they were delicious!
We talked about saying thank you at Harvest time for all the lovely food that we enjoy eating!
