This week in Nursery we have talked about Fair Trade and looked at the symbol for fair Trade which we can sometimes find on our food packaging. We talked about what Fair Trade meant in simple terms!
We made Fair Trade fruit kebabs which were delicious! Then Miss Hindmarsh very kindly sent in some Fair Trade chocolate for us to taste. We all liked the milk chocolate but the dark chocolate we tried was a little bit bitter. “I didn’t like that one !” said Pheobe.
on Friday we were excited to prepare a tea party to celebrate Mother’s Day. We decided to make Fair Trade chocolate crispy cakes. We loved making them and we displayed them on our table alongside the Fair Trade symbol to encourage our families to be aware of Fair Trade!
