On Friday the children went to the workplace in Aycliffe to attend different mini workshops which outlined different ways that they could stay safe. The children attended 30 minute workshops which were hosted by the police, the fire brigade, the coastguard, the electric board, the NHS and by a road safety team. The children took part in different activities and looked at the different ways that they could stay safe and if things did go wrong, the different precautions they could take to try to minimise the potential damage.
