As part of interfaith week we started to look at different religions. We looked at Islam. As a class we created a circle map. We thought about what we already knew about Islam and what we really wanted to know. From this we used the questions as a basis for our research. We found out that there are different branches of the Islamic faith each of them having different beliefs, just like Christianity. We also found out that Muslims pray in a Mosque facing Mecca. We learnt about the five pillars of Islam and presented our findings back to the rest of the class.
