To begin our topic we went to Eden camp. We had a fantastic day collecting information about World War II. Throughout the day we collected information from different rooms in the old Prisoner of War camp. We learnt about what life would have been like during the Blitz. We found out how rationing was used during the war. There were loads of interactive rooms which helped us understand what life would have been like in Britain during the War. Our favourite rooms were the Blitz and the German u boat room.
A child commented, “I can’t believe how scary it would have been during the blackouts.” While another said, “It was great, I learnt so much about the War.”
