Democracy Day Class 4 2017

On democracy day, we thought it would be a great day to elect our pupil parliament. We learnt about the importance of democracy. We looked at the process of an election. From this we watched some videos of an election campaign. We looked at the type of things that were said during this. We used these things to create our own speech which we delivered to the class. The results were extremely close but Harry, Summer, Charlotte and Konrad were elected as our pupil parliament. One child said, “I was so pleased to be voted in. I am going to make a difference.”
