Wow! Today, was amazing! We had a very special visitor, Paul Cookson, come to visit us. At the start of the day, Paul showed us some of his poetry in a whole class assembly. It was so funny! We were so excited for Paul to come in our class to work with us on a class poem.
When Paul came in our class we decided to make our poem about what we do when the teacher isn’t there. It was extremely funny!
At the end of the day, we went back into the hall with the whole school to perform our poem and listen to poetry from the other classes.
We all had a fantastic day and can’t wait for Paul to visit again!
