Class 4 OAA

We visited Hardwick Park for our outdoor activities day where we got involved in lots of fun activities exploring the great outdoors. The first part of the day was spent with instructors showing us how to successfully start a fire using a flint and cotton wool as a survival skill. We then moved on to exploring the park as part of an orienteering exercise which saw the children explore every inch of the area in search of markers! Finally, we finished the day with a host of teamwork activities where children worked together in groups to complete tasks set for them which included transferring items from one area to another whilst attached to each other! Pupils enjoyed a day out in the stunning local environment and learnt all about survival skills and teamwork.
