Today, we learnt about peace. We went into an assembly with all the School and listened to a story called, ‘The Journey Home’. This year, the topic for International Peace day linked to climate change. It was a lovely story about a polar bear and his friends that were looking for their homes, but their homes had gone, the ice had melted! We talked about ‘climate change’ and what that meant for our environment. We were sad for the polar bear and his friends and really wanted to help him!
In the afternoon, we went on a climate change scavenger hunt learning all about the effects on the world and learning how we can help.
We had a great afternoon learning about Peace and what it means.
