On Thursday 21st September, we celebrated International World Peace day. During the day we created a class circle map on our thoughts about what is peace?
We linked this with stories of refugees which watched on the computer, this lead to discussion about how we could rebuild peace within our community including the classroom.
A child commented, “It is similar to justice where everyone deserve the same chances.” Another questioned, “Why cant everyone just be at peace?” While another stated, “We should all live in harmony.”
