Hour Of Code Class 3 2017

On Wednesday 13th December, we completed our hour of code. We played a game where we had to get objects from one side to another giving them instructions. We used algorithms to make the people on the game follow the correct path and pick up different things. The inputs ranged so you had to choose which button to use either jump, walk turn. It really tested our logical thinking and made us learn from our mistakes. It definitely worked on our endurance.

A child said, “I found it hard at first because it I got it wrong and had to debug it and learn from my mistakes.” Another said, “It was tricky because there was a lot of different inputs to choose from. I learned from my mistakes. I was able to use the jump and walk and get everything.” Someone said, “It was really good because it was challenging. We had to think about which way you use the buttons.”
