National Share a Story Month

UN Convention on the Rights of the Child links:  Article 28 – You have the right to a good quality education. Article 31 – You have the right to play and relax.

In May, it was National Share a Story Month and we have read so many amazing books. We have read in school and we have also made the most of the nice weather by reading outside. We have had class stories and we have also shared reading the story to our friends in class. On Friday, we all brought our favourite books in to show our class. We discussed why they are our favourite books. We went down to EYFS and KS1 to read our favourite book. Some of the KS1 children even read their book to us. It was brilliant!

Here are some quotes from the children:

“My favourite author is David Walliams, especially The World’s Worst Children 3.”

“I love reading about fairies and princesses!”

“My favourite author id Michael Morpurgo!”
