Today was Internet Safety Day. We discussed how to stay safe on line, what to do if we were concerned and making sure we knew someone we could talk to. Next we wrote our name, age and favourite colour on a post it note. We were very curious as to why we were writing our details down.
Then, we discussed a range of different social media conversations and what they all had in similar. We were then asked if it was ok if their information on their post it note was shared with the class.
We had a great discussion about what it means to share information and what the word permission means.
