Today, we celebrated Children in Need. We all came in our Pudsey clothing or dressed as our favourite superhero.
The day started with an assembly held by Pupil Parliament, who told us about all the causes that our donations would support. We heard the story of a little girl, who lost her sight. The money we donate will help her to enjoy a music program where she is learning to become more independent and do things that we can do!
The morning was amazing! All of KS2 competed in a Bake Off, all of what we made would be sold at the end of the day to raise money for Children in Need. We made scones, flapjack, brownies, cookies and cornflake tart. We had the best morning ever.
Then after lunch, we came back to our class and competed in a colouring competition. We were all excited to win some prizes and really took our time. One of us even won the competition!
Finally, we went back into the hall and took part in a talent show. It was great to see everyone’s talents.
We had such a fantastic day and loved raising money for such a great cause!
