A smile is the same in all languages. In class 3 on Friday, National Smile Day, we talked about the value of a smile, things that make us smile and how it feels when others smile at us. In the afternoon, a dentist from Sedgefield Dental Practice visited school. He talked to us about making good food choices. We also learned how to brush our teeth properly for a whole two minutes – it seemed like such a long time but our teeth were sparkly clean when we had finished. To end the day we looked at some smile murals from around the world and made our very own colourful masterpiece in chalk on the playground. We hope it makes everyone smile!
