On Wednesday 30th November we attended a gymnastics festival at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre. We performed a balance routine to the song, ‘I love my life’ by Robbie Williams. After we had performed we got the chance to play on the gym equipment. It was incredibly fun. We saw flames and received our certificates for excellent quality. After the performance we were complimented on the timing of our routine and how well rehearsed it was.
“I liked the balance where I stood on someone’s knees,” said a child. The performance was, “‘10 out of 10,” said another. Some of the children said, “I loved the end position when I did a handstand,” and “I loved performing it was really fun.”
