We had an amazing surprise today. Mr Houghton came into the classroom as we were watching a film and turned our Santa camera off and said that Santa wasn’t watching so we didn’t need it on. He told us we had a special visitor so we were super quiet in waiting for him. It seemed to take ages for him to come. It was the one and only Santa Claus. Some of us screamed with excitement. He had a bag full of gifts for us. We all said a big thank you to him. He wasn’t here long but we know how busy he is. We all opened our presents together. It was so exciting and we can’t wait to see what else he brings on Christmas Eve night.
One child said, “I thought the visitor was going to be God.” Another said, “He knew that I loved Haribos.”
