Today, we all went into the hall for a very important workshop about first aid. A lovely lady told us what to do if someone needs help. We all knew it was very important to tell an adult and try to get help. She told us all about the different services we could get through to if we rang 999 in an emergency. It is really important we know our address. We spoke about the importance of looking for dangers because we don’t want to get hurt or for anyone else to be injured further. Then she showed us something really important, DR ABC. We all took turns going through all of the steps and we all learnt something new!

Here are some quotes from the children:

“I like being able to help people.”

“It’s really important to know what to say on the phone when you are calling 999.”

“This was really good.”
