On Tuesday 5th February, we continued our work with online safety on Safer Internet Day. We watched a clip where a little girl came across lots of problems online. We watched her brother give her advice to help keep her safe. We also helped her. We realised the internet can be fun but it is very important that we need to stay safe. We discussed the importance of keeping our personal information safe such as: our names, addresses, school name and our photograph. We also discussed the importance of telling an adult we trusted if we see something we don’t like or receive a nasty message. We wanted to help other children stay safe so we created a poster.
