Today, we learned about peace. We went into an assembly with all the School and listened to a story called, ‘The Journey Home’. It was a lovely story about a polar bear and his friends that were looking for their homes, but their homes had gone, the ice had melted! We talked about ‘climate change’ and what that meant for our environment. We were sad for the polar bear and his friends and really wanted to help him!
In class, we played a really fun climate change game and we designed and created our very own dove which is a symbol of peace.
Finally, we all went with pupil parliament and along with all the teachers, we all added our fingerprints to our dove which shows our promise to climate change.
We had a great afternoon learning about Peace and what it means.
