Today in KS1 we worked together to explore concepts around World Thinking Day. We used our ‘Thinking Hats’ to consider the qualities to make others happy. We designed our own superheroes based on the power of happiness. After that we worked with our partners to make a paper aeroplane which would fly (easier said than done). When our plane was made we each wrote a special quality about our partner on it’s wings. At the end of the lesson, we flew our planes and guessed which pair they belonged to based on the qualities written. Finally we worked in groups to think about the five most important qualities of a friend. We voted and agreed that being loving and caring was the most important quality a friend could have.
