On national smile day Class 2 had a discussion about how to keep their teeth healthy. We had a lovely visit from the local dentist. He showed us some foods that are great for our teeth and some which we need to stop and think about! He had a shopping bag which we got to deliver to the correct tables- green for good and red for stop! The dentist then gave us our very own toothbrushes and showed us all how to brush our teeth correctly along side a 2 minute timer. We also got to take away some disclosure tablets to see if we have missed any pesky germs!!
On this day it was also National Poetry Day so we decided to create some acrostic poems all about teeth. We had fun thinking of some matching sentences about dental health.
