In celebration of ‘Children in Need’, we came to school on Friday 18th November knowing it would be an activity filled day. Our fancy dress theme was ‘spotastic’. It was brilliant to see all of our class get dressed up for the occasion. We had lots of spots, Pudsey’s, Tinkerbell, Jasmine and we even had two Darth Vaders.
Our parents were invited into school for a coffee morning. We then went into the hall for hot chocolate and cake. It tasted so nice. We all ended up with crumbs on our costumes. We also got to guess the name of the teddy; guess how many sweeties were in the jar and on top of the cake. Next, we put our art skills into action as we coloured our very own ‘Pudsey’ themed pictures to enter the picture competition. We took our time to make sure we had the best chance of winning.
During the afternoon, we showcased our fancy dress costumes to the rest of the school. After that, we found out the winners of the guessing competitions. The winner of the sweeties in the jar competition was from our class. Finally, we had two entries into the school talent contest, ‘The Uptown Funk Dance crew’ alongside our very own singing sensation. They both did us proud.
