Pets At Home C1

Today, two ladies from pets at home came to visit us in school. They brought along some special visitors with them. The first animal they showed us was Angel, a white rabbit, she was allowed to hop around the hall and we had the chance to stroke her. Then we met three guinea pigs, a dad and his two sons. We were allowed to put them on our knees and stroke them.

We were then allowed to ask questions which we had prepared in literacy.

Someone asked, “Why do lizards live in a cage?” Another child asked, “When should a dog wear a coat?” Another child asked, “What do guinea pigs eat?”

Someone said, “a snake doesn’t have legs because it’s like a lizard.”

Someone else said, “my mam and dad have a snake.”

Everybody had lots of fun and loved stroking the animals.
