Today we all competed in the Dance Festival at Newton Aycliffe. We were all very excited as we had all worked so hard learning a new dance with our teachers!
The morning started by getting a bus to the leisure centre. This was exciting as for some of us this was the first time we had been on a coach.
When we arrived, we had a group warm up led by Joanne Banks, dance school. We all joined in and loved all the actions.
We were first up on the dance floor. We took our places and completed the dance like professionals! The judges were so thrilled with our dance and compliment how professional we were.
We even won best dressed for our fantastic efforts on our costumes!
We really had an amazing day and worked so hard on our dance!
A child said, “I love to dance.” Someone asked, “Can we get up and dance yet?” Another said, “We are the best dancers.”
