On Wednesday 11th July we held a World Cup day in school. We all dressed up in our sports clothes and got ready to celebrate by having a day filled with sports events.
First, we took part in lots of different football activities including: penalty shoots, dribbling and kicking targets. We all cheered for our team and really worked hard as a team!
Mexico were crowned winners of the games for their fantastic team working and support! They all received a medal!
Then, we watched as Key Stage 2 had their world cup finals. We waved flags, clapped and cheered to see Mexico crowned the winners.
Then it was our turn to play! We cheered and supported all the other teams and were happy to see England win the final!
We celebrated by having a World Cup party with the whole of the school!
We had a fantastic day and can’t wait to see if England are crowned winners of the World Cup!
