On Safer Internet Day the children read a story called ‘Penguin Pig’. During P4C we discussed whether it would ever be a good idea to meet up with someone that they didn’t know. We decide that this was a very bad idea and that we should always talk to our grown ups about what we want to do and who we are talking to on the internet. After all you could be talking to a stranger who is not very nice at all!
We also talked about how we should treat people when we chat to them on line. We decided that we should say positive and nice things. If we couldn’t think of nice things it would be better not to say anything at all. We wrote down some of the things we could say to our friends on love hearts and on a T-shirt!
