On Thursday, two ladies came to our school to give an assembly about child safety. The ladies talked about different types of abuse and completed little activities that showed us how small problems could often escalate to become much bigger problems. The ladies told us different ways that we could deal with these problems including speaking to responsible adults and contacting child line. At the end of the session the children felt more confident in dealing with problems they might face in the future.
One child said, it’s great to know what to do if we ever get in help or need some advice. I’m pleased I know the Childline number.
