Today, we found out about Shrove Tuesday. We have been learning about this in collective worship where we found out that pancakes are a symbol for saying sorry.
We talked about the meaning of Shrove Tuesday for Christians and made some delicious pancakes.
We discussed some of the things we would give up for lent.
“I’m giving up chocolate for lent.”
“I’m giving up my laptop.”
“I’m giving up marshmallows.”
“I’m going to give some of my things to people who need them.”
