Christmas Nursery 2017

We have had a great time celebrating Christmas in Nursery.

We have completed lots of arts and crafts and made cards, calendars and decorations for our families. We worked very hard to learn the nursery rhyme ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ and the actions. We were really brave and joined the rest of the school in church to sing this song and be part of our whole school nativity.

This week we had Christmas lunch and following this we had a very special visit from Father Christmas. We were so excited when he gave us all a present to take home and put under our tree! We all had great manners and said “Thank you!”

The next day was party day which was amazing. All the children joined in with some traditional party games such as pass the parcel and musical statues.  In the afternoon we joined in with the rest of the school travelling around the classrooms and completing different activities in each. It was a s if the fair had come to our school! We played giant twister and operation, hoopla and we all had a ride on a big reindeer! we had to hold on tight so that we didn’t fall off! Best of all there was a candy floss machine and a pop corn maker! This was delicious! Finally we all had a hot dog and it was time to go home! What a great day we had!

On Friday we watched Polar Express and drank hot chocolate while wearing our pyjamas.  We also joined the rest of the school for a Christingle Service which was really beautiful.

We have worked hard this term and we are all ready for two weeks off!

Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year!
