Year 2 Personal Best Challenge

This term, children have been working hard to be the best that they can be by competing against themselves to achieve a new personal best. While we understand it is important children compete against others, we have been working hard to encourage the children to challenge themselves.

The children have all completed challenges in the following:

  •  agility
  •  balance
  •  coordination
  •  fitness
  •  speed
  •  throwing and catching

All the children achieved at least two personal bests with some children even getting a personal best in all six challenges!

They were all really excited to receive their medals and certificates from Go Well.

Here are some quotes from the children:

“It was hard to keep going but I wanted to be better” – Grace
“I’m so excited to get my gold medal. I tried my hardest and always did better.” – Charlie
“I liked cheering my friends on, helping them to try their best!” – Charlotte
