Adam Bushnell visited our school on Monday. The day began in an exciting way with Adam sharing stories with us about different animals. After the assembly, we didn’t see Adam to the end of the day where he delivered a lesson to the class about lions and giraffes. He allowed us to draw pictures to create an exciting narrative plan about how the lion lost his mane or how the giraffe lost his neck. Adam told us to incorporate a tortoise into our stories and he brought in a real live tortoise to inspire us with our writing. After we had finished planning we all returned to the hall to share some of our stories with the rest of the school.
