This week, we have been celebrating everything science. We have been lucky to take part is some scientific investigations that have given us the opportunity to ask questions and develop our scientific understanding.
On Friday, we held our own Science Fayre. We were able to showcase our amazing homework to both out peers and parents/carers. During the afternoon, we worked in groups to move throughout the school complete various activities. The activities included, making food colouring move in milk, using lemons to light an LED, making slime, creating canister rockets, making sherbet and lots more.
We finished the day by taking all of our explosive homework projects outside to set them off. We had lots of amazing volcanoes that made lots of mess!
We had an amazing day! One child said, “I don’t know how it works, science is great!” Another followed with, “The rocket was amazing, I can’t wait to do it again.”
