Today, Thursday 18th October, we all made our way into the hall to make bread. We were given the flour and hot water. In a bowl, we had to mix it all together until it came away from the edges. We had to make sure that it wasn’t sticky anymore. Before we cooked the bread, we had to knead and shape the bread ready for the oven. Once cooked, it was ready for our Broth and Bread event with our grandparents. The next day, Friday 19th October, our hall was filled with our Grandparents enjoying our homemade bread and broth.
One child said, this dough is so sticky. Another replied, you need to knead it some more. Another said, this bread smells amazing, I want to eat it all.
