Adam Bushnell, author and story teller, came to our school to inspire our imagination. Using our topic of food, he took us back hundreds of years to the times of the Spanish Conquistadors. Their discovery of the coco plant and what we know today as chocolate.
Using all of our five senses, Adam guided us to creating a chocolate bar designed with our favourite ingredients and packed full of adjectives, describing what we could sense. This has inspired our class for our week of descriptive writing about foods from all around the world.
