Members of Sedgefield Fire Brigade came to see class 2 and talk to us about fire safety. We had a chat with some firemen who talked to us all about things we can do to stay safe at home and at school if there is a fire. We looked at the outfits worn by firemen and how they protect them. We then went outside to look at different parts of the fire engine. We were shocked by some of the equipment on board. We all got to try on one of the fireman’s hats and enjoyed getting on board the fire engine.
