We were all very excited to celebrate Roald Dahl Day today! We came to school dressed as our favourite character and began the day by celebrating in the hall as a whole school. We showed off our amazing costumes before learning more about the day.
As a class, we choose to focus on the story ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’. We watched a short clip and then acted out part of the story, discussing the ingredients for our very own marvellous medicine.
We then enjoyed an afternoon of activities which allowed us to discuss the book further. We created some fantastic pictures and we even made our very own exploding potions.
We had a wonderful day!
